Dr Neil is an economist of over thirty years, with unrivalled experience in economic analysis and forecasting. Prior to joining CBRE in mid-2012, Neil has held the positions of Director of Economic Analysis at Oxford Economics and Director of Economics and Forecasting at Experian Business Strategies. He has also worked for Wharton Econometrics (Global Insight) and the University of East Anglia. Dr Neil will guide you through the macroeconomic trends we are seeing to indicate the impending recession and how you can we build long-term business resilience.
Sarah joined Make-A-Wish in March 2021 and is a transformative leader, trustee, and director of finance and technology. Her previous roles have included, Director of Finance and Operations for Social Investment Business, who have provided over £400m of grant and loan funding, and Head of Finance and Core Services for Cochrane, a global independent network of researchers, professionals, patients, carers, and people interested in health. During her session she will share creative ways to improve the employee lifecycle within the finance function, to retain talent and bring people and technology together.
Michael Calamito has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years in a variety of business operations and business continuity roles. He joined Hargreaves Lansdown in March of 2021 as Head of Operational Resilience. Michael was also Head of Global Business Continuity Management where he oversaw business continuity activities across 27 countries for Fidelity International. Michael will help you improve your Operation Resilience plan and provide you with a better understanding of how to comply with the FCA’s requirements. He will show you how and identify your important business services, set impact tolerances, and carry out mapping and testing to illustrate that you are compliant.

In his session, he will discuss the importance for finance professionals to leverage on data-driven information to reduce costs, optimise cash and fuel growth by taking the lead in driving analytics throughout the business.
Nasrin is a director at KPMG UK, with over a decade of experience in ESG reporting, assurance, internal controls, process performance and improvement and financial reporting. She has supported companies across multiple sectors and regions in their reporting and assurance journeys. During her session, she will take you through the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) proposed framework and guide you through some of the changes which may be required to effectively implement the proposal.
